Anna Medyanyk
Ukrainian artist, born in 1979 in the city of Dnipro. She comes from a family with a strong creative past: her mother was a fashion designer and her father was a collector, both of whom had a great influence on her future as an artist.
Anna graduated from the Dnipro Art School, and also took additional drawing lessons from drawing teachers. She participated in group exhibitions “Colors of the World of Turkey”, the All-Ukrainian exhibition of contemporary art “Practices CONTEMPORARY 2.0” and “Talent of the Golden Age”, where she took 2nd place.
Many of her works are in private collections around the world, and are also exhibited at the Embassy of Turkey in Ukraine.
Artist's statement
I work with the ideas of the triumph of life over death. The idea of rebirth through images that for me personally have positive symbolism. I broadcast my own conviction about the bright beginning and the rebirth of Ukraine and Ukrainians, because this topic hurts me.
My works are about life and about the love of life. A sharp sense of being.
